Slowell is a personal media-collection tracker for vinyl and CDs, made by an individual developer, Benjamin B.
What We Collect

You can also use Slowell as a guest, without providing an email or name. Guest sessions use Supabase's anonymous authentication — your racks, albums, and reviews are stored on our servers the same as any account, just not linked to an email or name. While your session is active, you can delete your account and all its data anytime from Settings, the same as any user. If you lose that session (by uninstalling the app, signing out, or resetting your device) without first upgrading to Sign in with Apple, that data can no longer be tied back to you, including by us — it's automatically deleted after 180 days of inactivity.
We do not collect location, contacts, your photo library, health data, or advertising identifiers. There's no analytics SDK and no advertising SDK in the app. We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
Who We Share Data With
- Supabase — stores your account and content. Their servers are located in the United States.
- Discogs — a public music database we query when you search for an album or scan a barcode. Only the search term or barcode is sent — never your account information.
International Users
Slowell is available worldwide. If you're in the EU or UK, your data is transferred to and stored in the US under Standard Contractual Clauses, the standard legal mechanism for this kind of transfer.
Deleting Your Data
Delete your account anytime from Settings → Delete Account. This immediately and permanently removes your account and all content — no waiting period, nothing kept.
Children
Slowell isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Contact us if you believe we have.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above.
